Autonomous Ad Bots

The autonomous layer that takes over marketing for a single locked creative end-to-end.

Autonomous Ad Bots — called Manage autonomously in the product — is the autonomous layer that takes over marketing for a creative you select. A creative is chosen; the bot takes over its targeting and marketing.

Difference from Autopilot

AutopilotAutonomous Ad Bots
ScopeAn existing, multi-creative campaignOne locked creative
Touches the creativeCan generate and refresh new variantsCopy and targeting only
Starting pointA campaign already liveFrom scratch: a creative is chosen, the bot takes over

Autopilot is the optimisation layer for an existing campaign; Autonomous Ad Bots is a separate bot that takes over marketing for a single creative from the start. The two can work together — a campaign managed by a bot still passes through Autopilot's general optimisation.

Flow

  1. An image or video creative is opened
  2. Manage autonomously is started; the bot proposes an audience, budget and copy
  3. The first publish happens with user approval
  4. After approval, the bot keeps optimising copy and targeting on its own — the locked creative's image or video never changes

Two setup options exist: light (a quick start with default targeting and budget) and advanced (manually set audience, budget ceiling and message tone).

Enabling this mode means accepting responsibility for the changes the bot makes and the ad spend it causes. See Autonomous Actions.
