Autonomous Actions Consent
Spend-affecting changes made on your behalf by autopilot and agents.
Effective date: 2026-09-09
Adropic's autonomous features can make changes that cause money to be spent in your connected ad account. By enabling autonomous mode, you accept responsibility for all resulting spend and outcomes.
This document forms an integral part of the Terms of Service.
1. Nature of the authority granted
When you enable autonomous mode, you authorise Adropic to act on your behalf and for your account within the connected ad account. Actions taken under this authority are deemed taken by you and take effect directly against you.
2. Autonomy levels
| Level | Behaviour |
|---|---|
| Suggest | The system produces a decision but does not apply it; it waits in the approval queue |
| Semi-autonomous | The first publish is approved by you, subsequent optimisations apply automatically |
| Autonomous | Changes within defined gates apply without approval |
You set the level per brand and may lower it at any time. Lowering the level does not reverse actions already taken.
3. Actions possible in autonomous mode
- Pausing campaigns and ad sets
- Increasing or decreasing budget within your defined ceiling
- Replacing an underperforming creative
- Creating new ads (paused by default)
- Updating ad copy and targeting
Actions outside this list (closing an account, changing a payment method, opening a new ad account) are never performed autonomously.
4. Safeguards
- Every change passes through mutation gates before going live.
- Budget increases are capped by the ceiling you define.
- All autonomous actions are logged with timestamps and you can review the history.
- You can stop autonomous mode in a single action.
These mechanisms are designed to reduce risk; they do not eliminate it. An unintended change may occur if a gate does not behave as expected, through a software defect, an incorrect response from a third party API, or delayed synchronisation.
5. Spend liability
By enabling autonomous mode you accept full responsibility for the changes made under it and for the advertising spend they cause. No refund or compensation may be claimed for amounts spent, including spend resulting from a software defect or unexpected behaviour.
Adropic's liability under this document is in all cases subject to the cap in section 16 of the Terms of Service, and advertising spend is excluded from that cap entirely.
6. No performance commitment
Optimisation decisions are based on statistical models and historical data. Adropic does not undertake that these decisions will produce any particular conversion, sales, reach or cost outcome. A decision having worked in the past does not mean it will work in the future.
7. Setting limits and your obligations
Before enabling autonomous mode you must define a daily spend ceiling. If no ceiling is defined, the connected ad account's own limits apply and you are responsible for whether those limits are adequate.
In addition:
- You must also monitor spend regularly in the platform's own dashboard.
- Stopping autonomous mode when you notice unexpected spend is your obligation.
- Adropic's action history is informational; the platform's own billing records prevail.
8. Notice and objection
Autonomous actions are visible through in-app notifications and the action history. If you object to an action, you must notify support@adropic.com within 30 days of becoming aware of it. Notices given after that period will not be considered.
9. Stopping and suspension
Adropic may stop autonomous features without prior notice in case of abnormal spend patterns, suspected platform policy violations or technical faults. Such a stop is a protective measure, not an obligation; no liability arises from Adropic not having stopped a feature.
